Facility - Hospital has grown into the largest, most comprehensive medical facility in northwest Alabama, south central Tennessee and northeast Mississippi. The 358 bed, Level 3 trauma facility is the home of northwest Alabama’s only full service cardiac program. 24-hour emergency department serves as the primary referral center for Northwest Alabama. Rounding out the services is a complete line of medical, oncology, pulmonary, ambulatory, endoscopy, laboratory, imaging services and women and children services. There are over 200 physicians on staff representing over 42 specialty areas of medicine.
Opportunity - Openings for 4 Internists to join Hospitalist program as a facility employee. Block schedule 7 on / 7 off - Monday through Sunday with no nights or call. Open ICU with Intensivist support. Procedures are light, and mostly covered by the sub-specialists. Dramatic growth in program so census is high right now, but a full staff will reduce patient load to 16-18 range.
Compensation - Salary is $220,000 plus incentive package based on performance. Sign-on/relocation are available along with excellent benefit package.
